The Shawsank Redemption - Movie i like

Hi,

I came to know about a movie called "The Shawsank Redemption". We watched the movie and we are stunned by the plot. The story is about a Banker "Andy Dufrene" who is convicted of murdering his wife and is sentenced for two consecutive life sentence. The whole movie moves around the fictional prison "The Shawsank". Later his escape from the prison and revenge against the jail warden reminds me of the story "The count of Monte Cristo". In fact there is a reference of the book "the count of monte cristo" in the movie, which is really funny. You can feel Andy's inner confidence who is not much moved by the external things when Andy delivers the dialogue "Its in Here, They cant take it out of you". I am impressed by the performance of Tim Robbins (Andy Dufrene) and the famous Morgan Freeman (Red - Andy's jail companion who was rejected for parole twice and the man who knows how to get certain things in the prison). Real Nomad

Today i really dont know what to do? Nomadic Mind is surfing the net like a stray dog. I really bumbed into this youtube link in one social networking site called twitter where i am following one of my friend. In fact i dont know how to post in twitter :) thats another story. This you tube link is cool, where 2 young german scientinsts demonstrate the wii virtual surfing board which has pressure sensors which transfers the pressure through bluetooth. My First Day in the Foreign Country

I have visited Chicago last month for one of my short term assignment to work at my client place. The city is really cool. As this is my first visit to US, I am excited and enjoyed each and every moment during my stay. I think people might have spotted my first visit by the puzzling look and curiosity in my face. I have landed on O'Hare (Place in Chicago where International Airport is situated) at 7 P.M. In Flight i filled couple of forms for the customs and other rituals of immigration. As i am a typical tamilian, my full name (i.e Concatenated string of First Name, Middle Name and Last Name) is long. People standing next in the line might have scolded for the time taken in the immigration counter. I think i have heard this comment many times by the officials "You do have long Name". They literally have to type each character in the keyboard by looking at my passport. I didn't realize the local time and looking at the clear bright sky, i assumed it was morning. Later i realized the time in the local cab on my way to the hotel. First thing i admired in that country is the road and transport infrastructure they have. How organized the road transport is? - I wondered. After reaching the hotel, i reached the room booked in my name. The receptionist asked for initial deposit for the stay. I paid the amount and relaxed in my room. The room i got is really good with good windows to watch the traffic in the road, Sunrise and the small lake in the backside of the hotel. I sent a ritual mail to all my friends that i reached safely. I heard from my colleague that the hotel i am residing in was preferred by many Indians. I am desperate to make friends in the hotel which didn't happen as expected. After taking bath in the hotel room, I thought of relaxing but my curiosity didn't allow me. I just walked out of my room up to a gas station which is couple of blocks from the hotel where i met two Indians. One guy is from Kerala where the other guy is from Punjab who owns the shop. They enquired about me and my travel experience. I bought a 2 litre Pepsi bottle (comes around 3 $) which is cheaper than the water and turned back to my room. I just browsed the channels available in the TV set of my room, I really don't know when i slept.
